CS2 Stats Glossary

Quick reference for the metrics powering our projections.

Rating Composite score combining kills, survival, multikills and round impact. 1.10+ is elite, 0.95–1.10 is solid, below 0.90 is underperforming.
Projected Kills Career kills-per-round × 24 rounds × expected maps for the format (BO3 = 2.4 maps, BO5 = 4). Cross-reference against the PrizePicks line.
ADR Average Damage per Round. The most format-agnostic CS2 stat — 80+ is star-tier, 70–80 is strong, below 65 is below average.
KAST % Percentage of rounds where a player got a Kill, Assist, Survived or was Traded. 75%+ means almost no dead rounds.
Headshot % Share of kills via headshots. Above 55% is rifle-dominant; below 45% is typical for support / utility roles.
Form Sparkline Mini-graph of the last 10 map ratings, oldest to newest. Rising = ride the over, falling = fade.

How To Use Our CS2 PrizePicks Cheat Sheet

Our projection model ingests every player's last 10 to 20 competitive maps, weighting recent performance more heavily than older results. Opponent rating, expected map pool and match format all feed into the projection — a player facing a lower-ranked opponent on a historically high-kill map like Mirage or Dust2 will see inflated projections compared to a defensive grind on Nuke or Ancient.

Read the rating column first

Before you even look at the projected kill total, scan the Rating column. A 1.10+ rating means the player has been comfortably above-average across recent matches; that's the floor for a reliable over candidate. Anything below 0.95 should make you cautious about taking the over even if the projection looks attractive.

Cross-reference projection vs. posted line

The whole point of a cheat sheet is finding gaps. When our projection says 19.8 kills and the PrizePicks line is 17.5, that 2.3-kill cushion is statistical edge. Stack 2–3 such "edges" into one entry and you've built a +EV ticket. When the projection is within 0.5 kills of the line, skip — variance will eat you alive.

Format multipliers matter more than people think

BO1 matches have huge variance — a single map can swing 8–15 rounds. BO3 stabilizes outcomes because a star player gets 2–3 maps to put up numbers, smoothing the random noise. We project BO3 at 2.4 expected maps. For BO5 finals, project at 4.0 maps — one of the highest-EV slates because the sample size is large.

Roles drive ceiling vs. floor

Entry fraggers and aggressive AWPers post the highest kill ceilings but also the widest variance. They're great over candidates against weaker teams that fold early. Support players and IGLs have lower ceilings but more predictable lines — bet their overs against teams known for grinding economies.

CS2 PrizePicks FAQ

What is a CS2 PrizePicks cheat sheet?

A CS2 PrizePicks cheat sheet is a quick-reference projection tool that displays expected player statistics — kills, deaths, ADR, KAST percentage, HLTV rating — for every upcoming Counter-Strike 2 match. It consolidates data points so you can evaluate over/under prop lines without manually researching each player. Our cheat sheet refreshes every 30 minutes during slate hours, incorporating the latest form data, roster changes and map pool adjustments. Rather than spending hours cross-referencing stats from multiple sources, you get a consolidated snapshot that highlights which players are trending above or below their averages and where the strongest PrizePicks value exists.

How are CS2 player projections calculated?

Our CS2 player projection model analyzes each player's last 10 to 20 competitive maps, weighting recent performances more heavily than older results. The model factors in five contextual variables: opponent team rating (stronger opponents suppress offensive output), expected map pool (Mirage and Dust2 produce higher kill counts than Nuke or Vertigo), match format (BO3 series produce more stable averages than BO1 matches), tournament tier (LAN events differ from online qualifiers), and role-specific tendencies (entry fraggers, AWPers and support players have fundamentally different statistical profiles). The result is a context-adjusted projection that accounts for matchup-specific variables rather than relying on raw career averages alone.

What CS2 player props are available on PrizePicks?

PrizePicks offers several CS2 player prop categories for most professional matches. Total kills is the most common — predict whether a player finishes above or below a set number across the series. Headshot totals are popular for rifle-dominant stars. Assists, deaths and ADR (Average Damage per Round) props appear in larger events. Some matches feature map-specific props that apply to a single map rather than the full series. Major tournaments typically offer the widest selection of CS2 fantasy markets, while smaller online events may have only kills and ADR available.

How accurate are CS2 stat projections?

Statistical projections in CS2 are probabilistic, not deterministic. Across a large sample of matches, our projections track within 5 to 10 percent of actual outcomes for most players. Individual matches can deviate significantly because of unexpected map picks, hot streaks, or slow starts — single-map BO1 predictions carry much higher variance than BO3 projections by design. The right way to use projections is as a baseline for decision-making rather than a guaranteed outcome. We recommend taking entries only when the gap between our projection and the posted line is meaningful (typically 2+ kills or equivalent), which indicates statistical edge worth the variance risk.

What is the best strategy for CS2 PrizePicks entries?

The most consistent CS2 PrizePicks strategy focuses on identifying discrepancies between projected performance and posted lines. Start with our cheat sheet to find players whose recent averages diverge meaningfully from the PrizePicks line. Favor BO3 over BO1 matches for stable totals. Stack correlated picks — selecting the over on kills for a star player whose team is heavily favored makes sense because dominant wins inflate offensive stats across the board. Avoid chasing extreme overs on players facing top-tier opposition; elite defensive teams compress scoring. Manage bankroll by spreading entries across multiple match days rather than concentrating everything on a single slate.

How does match format affect CS2 PrizePicks projections?

Match format is one of the most impactful variables in CS2 PrizePicks projections. A BO1 (single map) match gives each player roughly 20 to 30 rounds to accumulate stats, while a BO3 that goes the full distance can span 60 to 90 rounds. Raw stat totals in BO3 are naturally higher but also more predictable because the larger sample smooths variance. PrizePicks lines account for format, but posted lines for BO3 matches sometimes undervalue star players on heavily favored teams who are likely to play all three maps. Always verify whether the prop line is per-map or per-series before selecting — the distinction fundamentally changes the expected range of outcomes.

Is CS2 PrizePicks legal in my state?

PrizePicks operates in most US states and several international regions, but availability varies. Daily fantasy sports laws differ by jurisdiction, and PrizePicks itself maintains a state-by-state availability page that you should check before depositing. CS2-specific contests follow the same legal framework as traditional fantasy sports. Players in restricted states may use alternative platforms — our coverage of CS2 player props applies regardless of which platform you use; the projections themselves are universal stat-based analysis. Always confirm legal eligibility in your jurisdiction and gamble responsibly.

How often is the cheat sheet updated?

Our CS2 PrizePicks cheat sheet refreshes every 30 minutes during active match days, pulling the latest player_stats data from our database. Every time a CS2 match finishes, the per-player aggregates update and the next pageload reflects new form data. Major roster changes (transfers, benchings) are reflected the moment our team-roster sync detects them.
