Team Falcons captain Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen remains confident in his rebuilt roster despite the side’s second consecutive grand-final defeat — the latest a 3-1 loss to Legacy in the CS Asia Championships 2026 final in Shanghai.
‘We will find the right formula’
Speaking after the CAC final, the veteran in-game leader delivered a measured but defiant message to the Falcons fan base:
“This team is special. Even though we haven’t been able to show ourselves in finals yet, I know we will find the right formula to win. Whether it happens at the next tournaments or later, this team will win.”
karrigan on the pressure
The Dane was also candid about his own performance and the weight of the superteam project he’s been brought in to lead:
“I know I can play much better and call much better. The pressure is huge, but I like it.”
The Cologne stakes just got bigger
Since joining Team Falcons from FaZe Clan in April 2026, karrigan has stabilised the project structurally — back-to-back grand finals is a result most rebuilt superteams do not produce inside two months. But the trophy drought is now a narrative. With the IEM Cologne Major two weeks out, the karrigan-NiKo-m0NESY firepower side enters Germany with the highest possible expectation and zero margin for a third straight final loss.
