MOUZ closed their CAC 2026 campaign with a statement bronze medal. The European side demolished MIBR 2-0 in the third-place decider in Shanghai — 13-3 on Overpass and 13-1 on Ancient — putting back-to-back podium finishes on their resume after their PGL Astana third-place run.
xertioN’s IGL run continues
Dorian ‘xertioN’ Berman once again led the way. The Israeli rifler — now leading MOUZ as the team’s new in-game leader — posted a 1.94 series rating with 33 kills, 112.9 ADR and 96.7% KAST across the two maps. HLTV’s run-rate numbers since xertioN took over the leadership role have held at a 1.31 rating, making the role transition one of the more under-discussed storylines heading into the Major.
jL’s farewell match for MOUZ
Justinas ‘jL’ Lekavicius also delivered a strong final showing for MOUZ — 31 kills and 107.7 ADR across the two maps. The Lithuanian star returns to Natus Vincere as a substitute ahead of the IEM Cologne Major in a temporary move that gave MOUZ flexibility during their rebuild while letting jL gather additional stage reps. MOUZ are now expected to reintegrate Ludvig ‘Brollan’ Brolin into the active lineup before the Major.
Two bronzes, one direction
Back-to-back third-place finishes at PGL Astana and CAC 2026, with new IGL form holding above 1.30 and an emerging team identity, gives MOUZ a real platform heading into Cologne. The xertioN-led project has gone from open question mark to one of the more interesting outsiders to watch in Germany.
