Wildcard are BC.Game Masters Champions. The North American Counter-Strike 2 squad defeated FOKUS 2-1 in the grand final of the LAN event in Portugal — taking the trophy, $30,000 in prize money, and a significant boost in the Valve Regional Standings ahead of Major qualification.
The grand final scoreline
- Inferno: Wildcard 13-7 FOKUS
- Dust2: FOKUS 13-10 Wildcard
- Nuke: Wildcard 13-6 FOKUS
The Nuke comeback
The decider was the highlight. Wildcard opened Nuke 0-5 down before stitching together one of the cleaner LAN comebacks of the year — closing the map 13-6 behind Miłosz ‘mhL’ Knasiak and Jadan ‘HexT’ Postma. On Inferno, Wildcard had already built a commanding 9-3 first-half lead with Nemanja ‘nEMANHA’ Đukić starring at a 1.50 rating. FOKUS’s Sebastian ‘volt’ Maloș responded with a 2.07 Dust2 rating to force the decider, but Wildcard’s structure on Nuke held.
HexT and mhL lead the run
The Cxzi addition has visibly stabilised the project — HexT’s interview after the final flagged exactly that. The result marks one of the organisation’s biggest tournament wins of 2026 and further strengthens Wildcard’s position in the global CS2 rankings ahead of the IEM Cologne Major qualification cycle.
