ADR· Average Damage per Round

ADR (Average Damage per Round) is the average amount of damage a player deals per round in Counter-Strike 2. At the professional level, 70–80 ADR is average, 80–90 is strong, and 90+ is elite.

What is ADR in CS2?

ADR counts every point of damage a player deals in a round divided by the total rounds played in the match. Unlike kills, it rewards players who soften up multiple opponents without landing the finishing shot, which makes it one of the most consistent individual-performance metrics in professional CS2. The same player typically posts a similar ADR across different maps and opponents, so it's a strong signal of reliable damage output. Coaches and analysts usually treat ADR + KAST together as the two most actionable individual metrics because they capture different aspects of contribution. ADR is also the best metric for evaluating support and lurker roles, where kill counts are systematically lower but damage output can still be high.
