What is an anti-eco in CS2?
Anti-eco is a cash-efficient round. The buying team picks up $1,050 SMGs (MAC-10, MP9) or shotguns and armor, spending maybe $2,500 total per player. Against a pistol-only eco, this equipment set dominates at short range and preserves bank for the next round. Anti-eco execution typically looks like a fast B-site rush with grouped SMG fire. Managing the anti-eco correctly is a small but compounding edge — teams that consistently defeat ecos without overspending carry a larger economic lead into rounds 5-7 of a half.
