Full buy· Full buy round

A full buy is a round where all five players have rifles, armor, a helmet and full utility — typically $4,500–$5,000 per player in spending. It's the baseline for competitive rounds where teams are fighting on equal economic footing.

What is a full buy in CS2?

A full buy assumes enough money for each player to carry an AK-47 or M4 ($2,700–$3,100), armor + helmet ($1,000), smoke grenade ($300), flashbang(s) ($200 each) and a molotov/incendiary ($400–$600). That puts team-level spending at around $22,000–$25,000. Full buys against full buys are the "fair" form of CS2 rounds — the economic variable cancels out, and the match comes down to execution, aim, and utility timing. Historical round-win data shows full-buy vs full-buy rounds hover around 50/50 with small map-specific and side-specific biases. That's the baseline rate off which force-buy rounds, ecos, and anti-ecos deviate.
