Entry fragger

An entry fragger is the player who enters bombsites first on T-side and opens duels for the team. They trade short-term survival for high-value first kills and are usually among the most aggressive players on the roster.

What is an entry fragger in CS2?

Entry fragging is one of the three clearly-defined offensive roles in modern CS2 (alongside support and lurker). The entry is typically first through the smokes and flashes, taking the initial duel inside a bombsite. Because they open space for the rest of the team, entries have relatively low survival rates but very high opening-duel counts. A good entry converts first-kill attempts at roughly 60%+ on their team's practiced executes; elite entries can sustain 65%+ across a full LAN. Entry frags are a betting-relevant metric because a team with a strong entry often owns first-kill spreads, even when the final map score is close.
