FTD· First Time Depositor

An FTD (First Time Depositor) is a new player who has just made their first real-money deposit at a sportsbook. FTDs are the base metric of affiliate marketing — commissions are often paid per FTD.

What is an FTD in CS2 betting?

FTD is the core unit of affiliate commerce. When an affiliate sends a user to a bookmaker via a tracking link, and that user signs up and deposits, the affiliate earns their FTD-based commission (flat CPA, or the start of a revenue-share relationship). FTD quality varies wildly: a player who deposits $10 once is counted the same as one who deposits $10,000 monthly in the FTD count. That's why sophisticated affiliates also track Active Player Rate and deposit-per-player alongside raw FTDs.
