What is a prop bet in CS2?
Prop bets (short for proposition bets) are where sophisticated CS2 bettors find most of their edge because they're less liquid and less sharply priced than moneylines. Common CS2 props include: total rounds over/under, first-to-10, map handicap, player-specific kill totals, and first blood. Player props in particular are volatile — they depend heavily on role, map pool and recent form — and are often mispriced by books that use simple base-rate models. A strong stat-driven approach edges consistently on player props.
