What is a moneyline bet in CS2?
Moneyline is the default CS2 bet and carries the highest variance relative to skill edge. A 1.80 moneyline (decimal) implies 55.6% win probability; betting at 1.80 when your model says 60% is a 4.4% positive expected value. Moneyline is the natural first bet for new bettors but offers limited edge for sophisticated players because the lines are sharp. Serious edge usually lives in map handicap, round totals, and player prop markets where markets are less liquid.
